Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the acceptable and prohibited uses of the Mincemeat platform, including our managed cloud hosting, performance engineering, static site deployment, and Linux infrastructure services (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to comply with this AUP.
1. Expected Use
Mincemeat services are intended to support lawful infrastructure, application delivery, software development, and operational workloads. Users are expected to utilize the Services responsibly and in a manner that does not negatively impact the infrastructure, other users, or the broader internet community.
2. Prohibited Use
Customers and users may not use Mincemeat services to host, transmit, store, or facilitate any of the following:
- Illegal Content or Activity: Any content or activity that violates local, national, or international laws or regulations, including the promotion of illegal acts, terrorism, or the sale of unlawful goods.
- Malicious Activities: Distributing malware, viruses, trojans, worms, rootkits, or executing phishing campaigns, credential theft, and any form of abusive automation (e.g., botnets).
- Spam and Unsolicited Messaging: Sending unsolicited bulk emails (spam), operating open mail relays, or utilizing the Services for SMS/messaging abuse.
- Intellectual Property Infringement: Hosting or transmitting content that infringes upon the copyrights, trademarks, patents, or trade secrets of others without proper authorization.
- Network Abuse: Attempting to compromise, scan, probe, attack, or disrupt third-party systems without explicit authorization (e.g., DDoS attacks, port scanning, packet spoofing).
- Platform Degradation: Engaging in activities that materially degrade shared infrastructure, network availability, or service reliability for other Mincemeat users.
- Objectionable Content: Distributing child sexual abuse material (CSAM), non-consensual explicit content, or material that incites violence or harassment.
3. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for all activities occurring under their accounts, including the actions of their end-users. Customers must secure their credentials and promptly notify Mincemeat of any unauthorized access or use of their accounts.
4. Enforcement and Remedies
Mincemeat actively monitors the network for compliance with this AUP. If we determine, in our sole discretion, that a violation has occurred, we may take appropriate action, including but not limited to:
- Investigating suspected abuse.
- Issuing warnings to the customer.
- Restricting, suspending, or terminating access to the Services immediately and without prior notice.
- Removing or disabling access to violating content.
- Reporting illegal activities to the relevant law enforcement authorities.
Mincemeat is not liable for any damages resulting from actions taken under this policy.
5. Reporting Abuse
If you believe a Mincemeat customer has violated this Acceptable Use Policy, please report the incident to our abuse team at abuse@mincemeat.id. Please include detailed information, such as IP addresses, timestamps, and evidence of the abuse, to help us investigate the issue promptly.
